Gerry Pollet is an Instructor at Western Washington University who concurrently serves as a Washington State legislator representing the 46th District. With expertise in environmental law and policy, he founded and directs Heart of America Northwest, an organization focused on Hanford Nuclear Reservation cleanup.
His teaching integrates practical policy experience with courses on Public Health Policy and Environmental Health. He developed the region's only Tribal Environmental Law externship program and has authored legislation addressing environmental protection, public health, and education reform.
Pollet holds a JD from University of Washington School of Law and previously taught at University of Washington School of Public Health and Seattle University School of Law.
