Gerhard Ornig, born in 1990 in Austria, is an award-winning trumpeter, composer, and arranger. He studied at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz (KUG), Conservatorium van Amsterdam, and Manhattan School of Music. Since 2021, he has served as a Lecturer at the Music and Arts Private University of the City of Vienna (MUK), mentoring young trumpet players. His work spans diverse ensembles, including the Gerhard Ornig Trio, 4Seasons, and collaborations with European big bands like the Ed Partyka Jazz Orchestra.
