Gerard Vreeswijk

Dr. Gerard Vreeswijk is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Information and Computing Sciences within the Faculty of Science at Utrecht University. He specializes in Natural Language Processing and Artificial Intelligence, with over 100 publications spanning multiple decades of research. His academic journey began with a PhD in theoretical computer science from the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam in 1993.

Dr. Vreeswijk's research interests center around multi-agent learning, the theory of computability, and unconventional computation. His scholarly work demonstrates a strong focus on argumentation systems, multi-agent deliberation, and computational dialectics.
