Gerard Mondello

Gerard Mondello is a Teacher-researcher and CNRS Research Officer (HDR) affiliated with the Research Group in Law, Economics, Management (GREDEG) at Université Côte d'Azur. He contributes to the Pole Norms, Competition and Regulation (PNCR) and the CCORSE team (Competition, public policies and sector regulations).

His research focuses on the economic analysis of law, particularly in the areas of risk and uncertainty. He examines competition law, regulatory frameworks, and public policy implications across regulated sectors. This interdisciplinary work bridges legal doctrine with economic theory to analyze how regulatory structures impact market behavior and institutional design under uncertainty.

Within GREDEG, Dr. Mondello collaborates through the CCORSE research team on projects investigating competition dynamics in regulated industries, contributing to academic discourse on sector-specific regulatory mechanisms and policy formulation. His institutional role integrates theoretical research with practical regulatory applications.
