Geraldine Ryan

Professor Geraldine Ryan is Professor of Corporate Finance and Deputy Dean at Cork University Business School, University College Cork, with 25+ years' experience in research-led education. She leads programmes from undergraduate to executive levels and developed over 30 unique modules. Her research focuses on sustainable finance, corporate innovation, and renewable energy investment, directly contributing to UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Research explores Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) factors in financial decision-making through projects like Circular Economy, Co-Wind, MISTRAL, and CABBBIE. She evaluates socio-economic impacts of renewable projects as part of Ireland's Renewable Electricity Support Scheme Steering Group.

Administratively, she drives accreditation standards as Vice Dean for Accreditation and shapes business education strategy as Deputy Dean. Her interdisciplinary work bridges finance, sustainability, and corporate innovation.
