Gerald R. Holzwasser, M.D., is a part-time Clinical Associate Professor of the Department of Imaging Sciences at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. A graduate of New York Medical College (1956), he completed residency and fellowship training at Rochester General Hospital and Strong Memorial Hospital before joining the radiology staff at Rochester General Hospital until 1966. After military service and further clinical roles, he became Chief of Radiology at Oswego and Fulton Hospitals (1978), and joined Strong Memorial Hospital as an Assistant Clinical Professor in 1988, later promoted to Associate Professor. His expertise lies in Chest Radiography and diagnostic imaging.
