Gerald Hlavacek

Gerald Hlavacek is a Research Associate in the Department of Electrical Engineering at the University of Applied Sciences Wiener Neustadt. His work focuses on sensor-controlled systems, IoT applications, and electrochemical technologies for pathogen/chemical warfare agent destruction.

• Lead project: E-Sterile (FFG FORTE-funded), developing autonomous electrochemical filter systems.
• Contributed to Zelos, optimizing IoT time-speed measurement systems for sports routes and gamification applications.
