Georgia Seminet is an Associate Professor of Spanish at St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas. She specializes in modern Latin American narrative, globalization, childhood literature, and cinema. Her research focuses on cultural identity, transnationalism, and postcolonial theory. Seminet co-edited two major volumes: Screening Minors in Latin American Cinema (2014) and Representing History, Class and Gender in Spain and Latin America (2012).
