Georgia Nester is a Research Fellow at the UWA Oceans Institute (OceanOmics Centre) and a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Minderoo Foundation since July 2023. She holds a PhD in Molecular and Life Sciences from Curtin University (2019–2023), focusing on monitoring blue biodiversity using environmental DNA (eDNA).
