Georgia Evans

Georgia Evans, Ed.D., is a Clinical Assistant Professor and Part-Time Faculty in the Department of Leadership, Research, and School Improvement at the University of West Georgia's College of Education. She has been with UWG since 2016 and brings over 40 years of experience across classroom teaching, administrative roles, and educational leadership. Her career includes positions such as School Improvement Specialist, Regional Director at the Georgia Department of Education, and Performance Consultant for GLISI.

She teaches graduate courses on educational leadership, including clinical practices, data-driven school improvement, and dissertation research. Recent courses span 2020–2025, with a focus on residency labs, school-community engagement, and advanced school improvement practices.

Dr. Evans provides mentorship through educational leadership residencies and dissertation advisement, emphasizing hands-on institutional leadership training.
