Georges Dagher is a Senior Researcher (Directeur de Recherche) at the French National Institute of Health and Medical Research (Inserm) in Paris, France. His career spans Necker Hospital (1979-1984), College de France (1985-1993), and Faculty of Medicine Broussais-Hotel Dieu (1994-2004), with post-doctoral work at Cambridge University (1983-1985) and Harvard Medical School (1982, 1984). At Inserm, he held leadership roles including Director of BIOBANQUES infrastructure (2012-2017), Coordinator of Biological Resources Centres (2006), and Deputy Director of Clinical Research at the Public Health Institute (2009-2011).

He has advised the Austrian Federal Ministry of Science and Research and Genome Quebec while serving on Inserm's ethics committee (ERMES) and Institutional Review Board, demonstrating sustained leadership in research governance and international scientific policy.
