Dr. George Yu is an Associate Professor of Computer Science and Information Systems at Youngstown State University (YSU), Ohio. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Southern Illinois University (2013), an M.S. in Pure Mathematics from Shandong University (2008), and a B.S. in Information and Computation Science from Northeastern University (2005). As the Campus Champion of NSF XSEDE at YSU, he facilitates access to national supercomputing resources and organizes workshops on High-Performance Computing (HPC).
