George Stewart is a Research Professor in the Department of Electronic & Electrical Engineering at the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow. His work focuses on photonics, fiber optics, and laser spectroscopy, particularly in sensor applications. He has taught undergraduate courses in electronics and supervised numerous photonics projects, while also contributing to academic governance as deputy chair of the departmental courses and teaching committee.
