George Shaker is an Adjunct Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Waterloo, Canada, and Lab Director of the Wireless Sensors and Devices Laboratory at the Schlegel-UW Research Institute for Aging. He is also Chief Scientist at Spark Technology Labs. His research focuses on wireless sensor technologies for healthcare, autonomous systems, and IoT.
