George Pickett is a Professor at Lancaster University's Department of Physics, specializing in ultra-low temperature physics. He co-developed Lancaster's microkelvin facility for studying quantum fluids, particularly superfluid 3He. His research examines exotic quantum states at near-zero Kelvin temperatures, quasiparticle behavior in superfluids, and NMR phenomena in quantum fluids.
