George Newth is a Lecturer in Politics at the University of Bath's Politics, Languages & International Studies school. His research focuses on far-right politics, populism, and nationalism, particularly the Italian Lega Nord. He holds a PhD from the University of Bath (2019). His work critiques nativism as a racist discourse and analyzes the intersection of populism with reactionary politics.
