George H. Litman, Ed.D., is a Professor of Mathematics Education at the National College of Education (NCE) within National Louis University (NLU). With over 25 years at NLU, he has held senior academic roles including Dean of the College of Arts & Sciences, Deputy Provost, Vice President of Strategic Initiatives, and Provost & Vice President of Academic Affairs. He served as Interim President of NLU in 2009. Before joining NLU, he spent 15 years in the Chicago Public Schools as a teacher and curriculum specialist, followed by leadership at Encyclopaedia Britannica Educational Corporation as Director of Computer-Based Learning and later as CEO of an educational software publishing company.
