George K. Lee

George K. Lee serves as an Associate Clinical Professor at the School of Optometry, University of California, Berkeley, where he holds dual leadership positions as Chief of the Eyewear Center and Chief of Community Clinics. He instructs core courses including Optometry 222A (Optics of Ophthalmic Lenses), 222B (Ophthalmic Optics and Environmental Vision), and 441A-C (Specialty Clinics in Low Vision).

His academic focus encompasses:

• Ophthalmic Optics: Analysis of spheric/aspheric lens surfaces, multifocal designs, prisms, and lens power measurement methodologies
• Low Vision Rehabilitation: Comprehensive patient management for visual impairments including diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment
• Eyewear Engineering: Material science of ophthalmic lenses, coating technologies, and ocular protection systems
