George Guida

George Guida is a Professor of English at the City University of New York, specializing in creative writing, American literature, and poetry. He holds a Ph.D. in English from CUNY Graduate School, an M.A. from Queens College, and a B.A. from Columbia University.

His research explores:

• Creative writing pedagogy and practice
• Italian American cultural narratives
• Poetic forms and traditions
• Ethnic identity in literature

He serves as Poetry Editor of 2 Bridges Review and has published eight books spanning poetry, fiction, and literary criticism.
