George Catsi

Dr. George Catsi is a Casual Academic and Adjunct Professor in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS). His work bridges creative arts, performance studies, and interdisciplinary design thinking. A nationally award-winning performance writer, he explores the intersection of persuasion techniques in religious contexts, satire, and leadership dynamics through performance art and academic research. His doctoral work analyzed Christian fundamentalist evangelists' persuasive methods, leading to insights on idea dissemination and collaborative project success.

Education: Holds a Doctorate of Creative Arts (UTS), Masters of Media Production (UTS), and Bachelor of Arts (UNSW). Teaching focuses on Design Thinking, Performance, and Communications across UTS's transdisciplinary programs, including the Bachelor of Creative Intelligence and Innovation (BCII). He has also taught at Wesley Institute of Performing Arts and UTS Business School.

Research emphasizes performativity in leadership, embodying ideas through creative practices, and applying design thinking to systemic challenges.
