George Arampatzis

George Arampatzis is an Associate Professor at the School of Production Engineering and Management, Technical University of Crete. His expertise spans Process and System Design, Water/Energy/Environmental Management, ICT Systems, and Decision Support Systems. He holds a Ph.D. and Diploma in Chemical Engineering from NTUA. He has authored 5 academic books and contributed to numerous research projects, including the TREEADS and SWAN initiatives. His work emphasizes sustainable technologies, circular economy practices, and disaster management solutions using digital twins and GIS tools.
