About
Professor Georg N. Duda serves as co-speaker of the Berlin Institute of Health (BIH) Center for Regenerative Therapies (BCRT) and director of the Julius Wolff Institute for Biomechanics and Musculoskeletal Regeneration at Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin. His work bridges clinical practice and scientific research in regenerative medicine.
His research focuses on biomechanics and musculoskeletal regeneration, with particular expertise in bone healing processes and translational applications. Professor Duda's work examines how mechanical forces influence tissue regeneration and how these principles can be applied to improve clinical outcomes in orthopedics and trauma surgery.
As evidenced by his March 2020 BIH lecture 'What does it take to translate? - Lessons Learned in Regenerative Medicine,' he actively contributes to advancing the field of regenerative therapies from laboratory research to clinical implementation.
His leadership at the Julius Wolff Institute positions him at the forefront of biomechanics research in Europe, working within one of Germany's premier medical institutions.
