Geoffrey Maddox

Geoffrey Maddox is Associate Professor of Psychology and Director of the Memory and Cognition Lab at Rhodes College. His research investigates episodic memory mechanisms across lifespan, attentional control interactions, and memory enhancement techniques.

Focus areas include spaced retrieval training efficacy in older adults, metacognitive aspects of learning strategies, and cognitive aging trajectories. Supervises student researchers on memory intervention projects.

Holds Ph.D. from Washington University in St. Louis. Teaches courses in cognitive psychology and neuropsychology.
