Geoffrey Bennington is the Department Chair and Asa G. Candler Professor of Modern French Thought at Emory University. His research focuses on Modern French Literature, Deconstruction, Literary Theory, and the Eighteenth-Century Novel. He has authored numerous books, including Kant on the Frontier (2017), Scatter: The Politics of Politics (2016), and Lyotard: Writing the Event (1988).
