Geoff Keating

Geoff Keating is a Lecturer at the University of Southern Queensland's UniSQ College (Pathways), with expertise in Colonial and Imperial History, Pacific History, and Australian Indigenous History. His research also spans Human Rights history, Holocaust education, and the historical relevance of Modern Comics.

• PhD project: Role of outsiders in Australian rule in Papua and New Guinea (1906–1964)
• Teaching experience: 2 years in tertiary education, 13 years in diverse contexts including Cape York schools, correctional facilities, and refugee camps

Geoff is actively involved in promoting equity in higher education and has contributed to professional memberships such as the Moanaroa Research Institute and Pacific History Association. He was recognized as a Yad Vashem Scholar in 2017 for his work on comparative Holocaust and Indigenous Australian educational frameworks.
