Gemma Sanchis Roca

Gemma Sanchis Roca is a Professor at the Department of Audiovisual Communication and Advertising at Cardenal Herrera University (UCH-CEU), where she serves as Academic Secretary of the Faculty of Humanities and Communication Sciences. She has been dedicated to university teaching since the 2004-2005 academic year, instructing courses in Audiovisual Theory and Technique, Image Recording and Editing, and acting as a Final Degree Project tutor.

Education:

• Degree in Information Sciences: Advertising and Public Relations
• PhD in Communication with thesis: "A Study on the Application of Web Usability in the Menus of Optical Recording and Playback Media: DVD-Video and Blu-ray"

In research, she contributes to the "A Little Bit of Rock & Love" pre-competitive group, focusing on creative resources used by brands in the digital age for consumer engagement. She is also involved in the GVA-funded project "Role and Impact of Artificial Intelligence in the Production, Distribution, and Analysis of Communication Content (IIACO)." Her work spans EHEA-related studies and Audiovisual Communication, with publications in scientific journals and conference presentations.

• Representative of Audiovisual Communication degree professors (2009-2016)
• Secretary of the Audiovisual Communication and Advertising Department (2022-23)
