Dr. Gemma Pearce is an Associate Professor (Research) at Coventry University's Centre for Healthcare and Communities. Her research focuses on long-term conditions, women's health, physical activity promotion, and co-creation methodologies.
She specializes in hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (hEDS), Hypermobility Spectrum Disorders (HSD), and Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS). Dr. Pearce leads projects developing co-created tools to improve maternity care for people with hEDS/HSD and physical activity programs for POTS patients.
