Dr. Gavin Melles is an Associate Professor at Swinburne University of Technology, affiliated with the Faculty of Business and Law and the Manufacturing Futures Research Institute. He holds roles in the Centre for Design Innovation and the Social and Environmental Sustainability in Organisations (SESIO) Research Group. With a PhD in Education from Deakin University, Melles has extensive international experience, including fellowships at TU Dresden, Edinburgh University, and Linköping University. His research focuses on sustainable design, education systems, and online learning platforms. He has secured over AU$1M in grants, including CRC projects and international fellowships.
