Gaus Alam is an Associate Professor of Computer Information Systems at Jacksonville State University (JSU), based in the College of Arts, Humanities, and Sciences. He serves as the ABET accreditation coordinator for the Computer Science and Computer Information Systems programs. He actively contributed to establishing JSU's Data Science concentration and minor, designing all associated courses and co-leading a $1.5 million NSF Jump Start STEM grant for this initiative.
