Gary Stark

Gary Stark is a part-time Senior Lecturer in the Department of Psychological & Brain Sciences at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, teaching since 1991.

Education:

• Ph.D., University of Illinois at Chicago, 1986

His research interests encompass Clinical Psychology, Health Psychology, Abnormal Psychology, Positive Psychology, Social Psychology, and Developmental Disabilities. Teaching methodology integrates real-world applications, such as student health risk assessments in Health Psychology and happiness strategy implementation in Positive Psychology courses to bridge academic concepts with daily life.

With over 100 UWM classes taught, Dr. Stark prioritizes organized, relevant instruction that fosters student growth through experiential learning applicable to future careers.
