Gary A. Baker is an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Missouri (Columbia), part of the College of Arts and Science. He holds a BS from SUNY Oswego (1995) and a PhD from SUNY Buffalo (2001). His research focuses on sustainable nanoscience, deep eutectic solvents, and nanomaterials for environmental and biomedical applications. Notable honors include the PECASE (2008), Cottrell Scholar Award (2015), and MU Graduate Faculty Mentor Award (2024).
