Garrett L. Walsh, M.D. serves as Professor of Surgery in the Department of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. He joined the institution in September 1990, achieved tenure as Professor in 2001, and holds dual leadership roles as Head of the Perioperative Enterprise (since 2006) and Executive Director of Surgical Facilities Expansion (since 2014).
