Dr. Gail Tang is a Professor of Mathematics and Director of the Distinguished Grants Program at the University of La Verne's College of Arts and Sciences. Her research focuses on fostering mathematical creativity through faculty development and equitable teaching practices. Recognized for her teaching excellence, she received the 2021 University of La Verne Teaching Award and 2022 MAA Distinguished Teaching Award. She participated in NOAA's Teacher at Sea Program in 2023 and served as a Fulbright Scholar in Myanmar (2019).
