Gail Archer is a Professor of Professional Practice in Music at Barnard College, part of Columbia University. She serves as the Director of the Barnard-Columbia Chorus and Chamber Choir and teaches a year-long course on Western Classical Music, spanning from Gregorian Chant to contemporary composers. As an international concert organist and recording artist, she highlights composer anniversaries and musical themes through her annual recital series.
