Gabrielle Foreman

Gabrielle Foreman is the Paterno Family Professor of American Literature and Professor of African American Studies and History at Pennsylvania State University. Her academic roles bridge literary analysis, historical scholarship, and critical race studies.

Dr. Foreman's research interests focus on African American Studies, American Literature, and Cultural History. Her work explores intersections of race, gender, and narrative in 19th-century U.S. culture.
