- Current research areas include integer representations of finite groups, spherical designs, and their parallels in coding theory.
- She co-edits the Archive of Mathematics and leads the Graduate School Experimental and Constructive Algebra (2010-2019).
- Her work includes constructing extremal lattices, studying Hecke operators, and classifying quaternionic matrix groups.
Scientific Awards:
- Borchers Plaque (RWTH Aachen)
- Friedrich Wilhelm Prize
- Merckle Research Prize (2002)
