Gabriela Navarro

Gabriela Navarro is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Social Work and Social Ecology at Loma Linda University, serving as Director of Field Education. She holds an MSW in Social Work from Loma Linda University (2017).

Her expertise spans medical social work, trauma and anxiety, adolescent mental health, and end-of-life care. Clinical methods include Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).

Professional affiliations include the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC) and National Association of Social Workers (NASW).
