Gabriel Sanchez Sanchez

Gabriel Sanchez Sanchez is a Professor in the Department of Didactics of Language and Literature at the University of Murcia's Faculty of Education. His research focuses on intercultural competence development in pre-service foreign language teachers, particularly in English, and pedagogical strategies for enhancing intercultural communicative competence.

He obtained his PhD from the University of Murcia in 2014 with a thesis titled Study of intercultural competence in university students of foreign language teaching (English). Didactic proposals for developing intercultural communicative competence, supervised by Dr. Eduardo Encabo Fernández and Dr. Amando López Valero.

Dr. Sanchez Sanchez has been affiliated with the Didactics of Language and Literature research group and previously contributed to the Didactica de la Lengua y la Literatura group. His work bridges language education theory and practical classroom applications, emphasizing multicultural communication skills for educators.
