Gabriel A Rincon-Mora

Prof. Gabriel A Rincon-Mora is the Motorola Solutions Foundation Professor at Georgia Institute of Technology's School of Electrical & Computer Engineering. He has held visiting roles at National Cheng Kung University (2011-2019) and directed the Georgia Tech Analog Consortium and TI Analog Fellowship Program. His research focuses on analog ICs, energy-harvesting systems, and power conditioning. He has authored 12 books, 44 patents, and over 200 publications. Notable awards include IEEE Fellowships, a National Academy of Inventors Fellowship, and recognition as a Distinguished Lecturer by IEEE.

His work spans energy-harvesting microchips, power management ICs, and self-sustaining systems. Over 200 students have been advised, with many completing PhDs and M.S. degrees under his mentorship. He is a recipient of prestigious honors like the Charles E. Perry Visionary Award and the IEEE Outstanding Educator Award.
