Funmi Obembe

Dr. Funmi Obembe serves as Head of Technology at the University of Northampton, where she leads strategic development and operational management of Computing, Engineering and Games programmes. She is responsible for academic success, student experience, and graduate outcomes while serving on the faculty's senior leadership team and executive committee. Previously, she was a Senior Lecturer in Information Systems at De Montfort University's School of Computer Science and Informatics, where she served as Programme Leader for multiple computing-related programmes.

Her educational background includes:

• Master's in Advanced Computing from Imperial College London
• BEng (Hons) in Electronics and Software Engineering from University of Leicester

Dr. Obembe's research spans technology-enhanced learning, data science, big data analytics, open data, digital transformation, knowledge management, and machine learning algorithms for knowledge representations.
