About
Professor Fu-Sen Liang is a Professor in the Department of Chemistry at Case Western Reserve University's College of Arts and Sciences. His research focuses on chemical biology, biochemistry, organic chemistry, and pharmaceutical science. He directs a research group developing CRISPR-based technologies and molecular glues to study post-transcriptional and post-translational modifications in biological and disease processes.
The Liang Research Group specializes in interdisciplinary approaches to epigenetics, RNA biology, and synthetic biology. Key research areas include engineering synthetic immune cells for cancer therapy, developing conditional RNA regulation systems, and creating inducible epigenome editing platforms. Recent work explores tumor microenvironment-gated CAR-T cell therapies and site-specific RNA modification techniques.
