Prof. Dr. phil. habil. Friederike Wißmann is a Professor of Musicology at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Rostock since 2019. She also serves as Vice Rector for Studies, Research, and Teaching (re-elected in 2023).
- Previous affiliations: Technical University of Berlin, Vienna Conservatory, Goethe University Frankfurt, Free University of Berlin's Cluster of Excellence 'Languages of Emotion', Technical University of Dresden, University of Zurich, and University of Bonn (acting head of Department of Musicology/Sound Studies, 2015–2017).
