Professor Fridon Shubitidze is a Professor of Engineering at Dartmouth College's Thayer School of Engineering since 2007. He holds an MS (1994) and PhD (1997) from Tbilisi State University in Georgia. He is also a senior engineer/physicist at White River Technology, Inc. His research focuses on computational electromagnetics, electromagnetic sensing, UXO detection, and biomedical applications like magnetic nanoparticle hyperthermia for cancer treatment.

His work addresses real-world challenges in geophysics and medicine, including landmine detection and cancer therapy.
