About
Fredy Zypman is a Professor of Physics and Chair of the Department of Physics at both Yeshiva College and the Katz Graduate School of Yeshiva University. Previously affiliated with the University of Puerto Rico, he has also consulted for industries in medical instrumentation and energy. His research focuses on image reconstruction with scanning probe microscopes, atomistic modeling of materials, quantum optics, and mathematical optimization. He holds three patents in probe microscopy and has received grants from NSF, NIH, NASA, and the U.S. Department of Energy.

- MS and PhD in Physics, Case Western Reserve University (1987–1988)
