Fredrik Granviken

Fredrik Granviken is a Researcher at the Department of Public Health and Nursing within the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). He simultaneously works as a physiotherapist at the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, St. Olavs Hospital. His primary affiliation is with NTNU where he conducts research focused on improving primary healthcare management of musculoskeletal disorders.

Granviken's research centers on developing and implementing AI-based clinical decision support systems for personalized management of musculoskeletal pain disorders in primary care settings. His doctoral project forms part of the SupportPrim research initiative, which aims to move beyond one-size-fits-all recommendations toward stratified and personalized care approaches.
