Fredrik Alm

Fredrik Alm is an Associate Professor at Linköping University, affiliated with the Department of Behavioural Sciences and Learning (IBL). His research focuses on educational assessment, particularly the quality, fairness, and ethics of classroom grading practices, as well as teachers' experiences with national test moderation. He coordinates Educational Assessment seminars and teaches courses in classroom assessment within teacher training programs. Alm holds a Master's in Education (2001), a teacher education in mathematics and science (2001), and a PhD in Education (2010).

His research interests include professional knowledge construction through moderation processes, teacher perspectives on unfair grading, and the motivations of first-year teacher students.
