Frederick S. Walborn

Dr. Frederick S. Walborn is a Professor of Psychology in the Social Science Department at Glenville State College since 2004. He holds a Doctor of Clinical Psychology (1983) and Master's degrees in Clinical Psychology (1987) and General Psychology (1981), alongside a Bachelor's in Accounting (1976) from the University of Illinois.

His research focuses on clinical psychology, personality theory, and mental health administration. He authored a graduate-level textbook on counseling process variables (1996), a theoretical work on religion's role in personality theory (2014), and an award-winning novel exploring psychological themes (2018).

Dr. Walborn previously specialized in outpatient psychotherapy and mental health facility administration before joining academia. He currently contributes to psychology education and research at Glenville State.
