Frederick Glover

Frederick Glover, PhD, is a Sessional Instructor at Mount Royal University’s Faculty of Humanities. He holds a PhD in History from the University of Calgary (2018), an MA in History from Carleton University, and an MA in Asian Studies from Sejong University (Seoul). His research focuses on the history of Canadian missionaries and Korean Protestants in Hamgyŏng Province and Manchuria (1893–1928), liberal thought in Korean Protestantism, North Korean tourism, and Korean Canadian commemoration activities. He is an External Associate at the York Centre for Asian Research and has published in journals like Studies in World Christianity and History & Memory.
