Frauke Wiese is an Assistant Professor leading the interdisciplinary junior research group "Energy Sufficiency" at the Europa-Universität Flensburg. She holds a PhD in Energy and Environmental Management from the same institution and conducted postdoctoral research at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU). Her work focuses on energy transition modeling, open-source frameworks, and sufficiency policies. She co-founded the Open Energy Modelling Initiative and developed the renpass energy system model.
