Mrs. Frauke Harms is a researcher and lecturer at the Faculty of Linguistics and Literature, University of Bielefeld (since April 2021). She previously held positions at the University of Leipzig, including Lecturer in British Literature (2020-2021) and Tutor in English Linguistics (2018-2020). Her research focuses on Victorian Gothic literature, homelessness narratives, and class dynamics in British and American Studies. She is a member of the BiSEd (Bielefeld School of Education) and serves as an ordinary member of the Library Commission. Harms is currently pursuing a PhD on 'The other Other: Homelessness, Class and the Gothic in the Victorian Period' in a joint program with the University of Leipzig and Bielefeld University.
